Virtualitics’ Awarded Enterprise Readiness Super Intelligence (SI) Contract to Scale Munitions Planning Solution Across the United States Air Force Globally

PR Newswire

Automated Master Storage Planning scales from a proven command-level capability to an
Air Force-wide readiness platform

  • Operationally proven: First deployed within Air Force Global Strike Command and tested across seven MAJCOMs.
  • Mission impact at scale: Reduces planning time by 70%, automates a process consuming an estimated 50,000 hours annually, and has identified approximately $22 million in potential infrastructure cost avoidance.
  • Applied SI for readiness: A-MSP demonstrates how applied SI can improve readiness outcomes while reducing cost and complexity.

PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Virtualitics, the Mission Readiness Company led by seasoned technologists, product experts and military veterans, today announced the enterprise-wide expansion of its Automated Master Storage Planning (A-MSP) contract with the U.S. Air Force. The renewed and expanded contract with Virtualitics now makes A-MSP available across all Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), scaling a capability first deployed within Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) and proven through operational use across the service.

U.S. military personnel prepare munitions as part of aircraft maintenance and readiness operations.

Originally developed to replace decades-old planning methods built around spreadsheets, graph paper and hand calculations, A-MSP has become a critical readiness capability harnessing industry-leading SI to deliver answers in seconds rather than days or weeks. As part of Virtualitics’ Readiness SI solutions, A-MSP supports decision-making across storage planning, material movement and logistics operations and establishes a foundation for scaling proven readiness capabilities across the Air Force. In a contested environment, the ability to quickly understand capacity, constraints and movement options has become essential to readiness planning and impactful efficiency within the munitions community. More specifically, the ability to understand storage utilization quickly informs potential storage opportunities for needed assets.

“Munitions readiness starts with knowing what you have, where it can go, and how quickly it can move,” said Rob Bocek, Chief Commercial Officer at Virtualitics. “Answering those questions has always required graph paper, spreadsheets, manual analysis, and, most importantly, time. Now, A-MSP puts that information in front of decision makers in seconds. The Air Force is expanding this capability for one reason: it delivers measurable operational value.”

Proven through operational use across seven MAJCOMs and hundreds of users, A-MSP reduces planning time by 70% and replaces a manual process estimated to consume more than 50,000 hours annually—giving airmen more time to support the mission. The Air Force-wide expansion reflects a growing demand for capabilities that lead to faster decisions, eliminate input errors, and provide a clearer understanding of readiness across the enterprise.

The expanded contract introduces new capabilities that extend A-MSP across the Air Force enterprise:

  • Command Overview Dashboards that provide MAJCOM leaders visibility into utilization, capacity and constraints across installations.
  • Interactive 3D visualization and volumetric analysis that improve storage planning and facility utilization decisions.
  • Virtualitics Iris SI-native integration helps users quickly query operational data and generate immediate insights.
  • Enterprise-level planning and analysis that enables leaders to assess future storage requirements and inventory growth across the force.

A-MSP has already demonstrated value beyond routine storage planning. Air Combat Command used the capability to assess whether existing facilities could accommodate storage needs before committing to new construction, identifying approximately $22 million in potential cost avoidance and helping inform infrastructure investment decisions.

The capability has also been used to prepare storage areas for major munitions movements and support contingency planning across multiple theaters. A-MSP continues to demonstrate how applied SI can improve readiness outcomes while reducing cost and complexity.

Virtualitics is a recognized leader in mission-critical SI innovation, named to Silicon Valley Defense Group’s 2026 NatSec100 list and the 2026 Inc. 5000 list. Virtualitics also announced a strategic memorandum of understanding with OpenAI to jointly work with customers on decision intelligence in complex, critical workloads.
